MemberClicks CEO Gives A Culture Shock To ASAE Attendees (print)
ATLANTA - JULY 2, 2013 - MemberClicks continues preparations for the ASAE Annual Meeting and Convention on August 3-6 by preparing a presentation by Mark Sedgley, MemberClicks' CEO on association culture.
According to the ASAE Annual Meeting website, Sedlgey's presentation ties together lessons learned in the casual MemberClicks office along with other tech company cultures, and brings it back to small staff associations. "Technology companies attract and keep top talent by offering refreshing work environments and unique benefits. Small-staff associations face similar challenges, and by incorporating some of the cultural attitudes and practices that tech companies embrace, they can greatly increase staff and member engagement."
"Associations could benefit from some insight into tech company culture," says Sedgley. "Tech companies are always celebrated for their fun office culture, but associations could do that too."
Mark's presentation, titled "Culture Shock: What Small-Staffs Can Learn From Tech Company Culture" will be at 1:30 on Sunday, August 4th at the ASAE Annual Meeting.
