I recently discovered Postling, which lets small businesses (or associations!) manage all of their social media outposts in one handy dashboard. Additionally, Postling can monitor mentions of your organization across the Web. You can allow multiple users or administrators access to your dashboard, and select which accounts they have access to.

Although Postling began as a way for small, local businesses to keep track of their social media accounts and reviews on sites such as Yelp, I think this could be a handy tool for organizations, as well. With limited time and manpower, small staff associations can often have difficulty managing Facebook, Twitter and a blog, as well as keeping track of the organization’s mentions across the Web. Postling consolidates everything for you in one place, making it a great time-saver for small staff association professionals.

Postling also allows you to publish to WordPress, Twitter, Flickr and Blogger — all from the same place. You can schedule posts and keep track of all your comments. Another nifty feature? Comments and mentions are tracked in real-time, so you’ll always have your finger on the pulse of your organization’s online presence.

The best part? Postling is free. I think there’s a lot of potential for this tool to help small staff association professionals maintain active social media presences, while saving them time and not detracting from their other duties. By integrating social media outposts, comments and alerts in one dashboard — and allowing administrators to add multiple users — Postling can help save association professionals save a ton of time without sacrificing their social media strategy.

What do you think? Would you use a tool such as Postling? How do you organize your social media presences right now?
