Association fail?

This photo has made the rounds on the Internet the past few weeks, and I have to say, it made me chuckle when I first saw it. But then I realized what a true problem this is — is this association blind to the sheer irony of that “Absolutely no soliciting” sign? Have other associations taken similar actions to alienate the public? Association staffers, take a step back and make sure you don’t employ any similar tactics.
